Business/Trade Division

PCIU, working with Pittsburgh businesses, chambers of commerce, the Rotary Club, women’s organizations, and local NGOs, is working to provide rural women with the skills and financing to set up cottage industries, offer them advise and mentoring, and assist them with marketing their products in the U.S. and other parts of the world.  Pittsburgh-based businessmen and women serve as mentors to aid and assist these women throughout the process, helping them become economically independent.
